The Funding Room is an online matchmaking service for start-up companies and small businesses, offering an alternative source of finance to business start-ups.
Its aim is to match start-up companies (and more recently established firms) which require an alternative source of funding to standard terms offered by the High Street small business lenders. It helps secure phase one funding for companies which may not be able to access formal High Street bank lending because of a lack of track record or no business credit history.
The breakthrough Government-endorsed Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) is currently enabling investment in the UK with tax breaks for those ready and able to plough money back into the economy.
A pioneer in this remit, The Funding Room provides opportunity for business growth and development via a national platform that works on the local level for all businesses, including start-ups with inspirational ambitions.
